In love with design and high standard of the service, we find ourselves in the Hotel POZIOM 511 Design Hotel & SPA. This boutique hotel is located in the lovely corner of Poland – in the middle of Polish Jurassic Highland, in the area of the Eagles’ Nests Landscape Park. We love the possibility of walking among impressive limestones, organising bike trips in Jura, and also the possibility of sightseeing. Close to the hotel, there are ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle, to which leads a path through a narrow crevice between rocks.
When we arrive at the hotel, we are fascinated by its modernity and refined design. The simplicity of forms, a lot of glass walls and nature literally bursting into the hotel – altogether create exceptional atmosphere. It is an intimate hotel, with only 42 rooms… Each one of them has different, interesting interior design – elegant and very modern, created for the most demanding guests.
We are also thrilled with an individual approach towards the client – before making a reservation, we can choose, among others, if we prefer to use bath or shower in the bathroom, or what kind of mattress we’d like to sleep on. This unusual attitude can be also seen while using SPA and wellness zone. 511 MEDI SPA is an extraordinary place, we can make use of conditioning treatments on the highest level. The service is very kind and very discreet, so anyone can really relax and unwind here. After a tiring day we can also restore energy in an exclusive wellness zone – we were totally in love with a glazed pool, from which we were watching sanguine sunsets.
And the hotel’s clearing under rocks… with loungers and total silence. The clearing is a perfect option for those who desire calm and contact with nature, braver ones can try their hand at rock climbing.
HOTELARNIA
HOT_elarnia is charming and calm in this time of the year. The spring atmosphere is here… We can see it best in nearly situated Wielkopolska National Park. Guests can make use of many pedestrian and bike routes and attractions such as trolley railways, museum of the traveller Arkady Fiedler or the observation tower, and also the Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa.
Only fifteen kilometres from Poznań, in a lovely, green Puszczykowo, there is an intimate, boutique hotel HOT_elarnia****. What sets it apart, is an individual and distinguishable character. It’s a place with extraordinary architecture, designed with great preference for modern design. Bartosz Konieczny – the architect of both facilities, combined unconventional Polish traditions with modern inspiration in his projects, making the whole eclectic and consistent at the same time. There are only 24 rooms in HOT_elarnia. Interesting fact: rooms don’t have numbers here. We distinguish them by their colours. And that’s where a great deal of colours ends, because the rest of the hotel is arranged mostly in white, grey and black. The domination of concrete, glass and wood can also be noticed.
We can see designer elements everywhere. What is worth seeing in the hall: a mysterious lamp “spider’s web” designed by Marcel Wanders and chairs made by Fabio Novembre, in the shape of buttocks. In the restaurant, there are interestingly designed lamps, that look like small tables hung under the ceiling.
The guests can use underground tunnel to enter intimate and prestigious SPA_larnia DAY SPA. It was arranged on the spot of an old manufactory. It is an incredible SPA, repeatedly awarded with prestigious awards. Except for the holistic SPA&Wellness treatments or relaxing baths, guests can use beautifully decorated pool, filled with crystal clear ozonised water, heated to the temperature of 32 degrees, a sauna, Jacuzzi and a room for leisure.
In the unusual menu of the TASTE_it restaurant, we can find modern variants of the traditional dishes of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska), made from the best regional produce and with regard to the range of seasonal products. The best propositions: excellent roasted duck with local dumplings, goose drumstick and goose breast. Recently, the restaurant has become a member of the European Network of Regional Culinary Heritage, which brings together places that favor regional culinary traditions.
