There is always something that amazes me in Berlin, it can be eco supermarkets, the number of people traveling on bikes (also with children and in rain and cold), dog bowls in cafes, or small tenant initiatives that are literally everywhere in the city. Even though I don’t like queues, I always stand waiting for a table at Monsieur Vuong to eat a bowl of delicious Asian food for less than € 10, sitting squeezed at a table with other people – but I barely leave, and I’m already thinking, when I will come back here next time. Just like in Markthalle Neun, where I was eating street food, or in the Monkey Bar or one at the Vienna House Andel’s Berlin hotel, where I sip champagne while admiring the city panorama with a characteristic TV tower.

#stayathome is a very difficult time for many people in the world. How we perceive the actions of our governments or if we optimistically look to the future very often depends on our individual situation and how our country supports us in this difficult situation. What quarantine looks like and how people feel about it in different countries, from the United States, through Italy and Spain to Austria, Australia or Belarus, we asked 26 of our friends.

Copenhagen is a bustling city with unique atmosphere that marks it out from many European capitals. Tourist attractions, amazing architecture or even well known urban solutions can’t compete with the specific and extremly magnetic aura of the city. Less momentum, distance, lots of space and highly developed cycling culture constitute main advantages of Copenhagen. Its charm is irresistible.

This year we spent the winter holidays in Berlin. Holidays in the city, you may ask? But the vacation was perfect, because Berlin loves children. Every place in the city offers something special for kids, and I don’t mean special attractions, as Legoland Discovery Center or Aqua Dome, but restaurants, places like Markthalle Neun, where the central point is a mini-playground for children. Thanks to this, our children are busy, and we – standing or sitting next to the table- can try delicacies from numerous stands or just enjoy prosecco. In addition, at every step our trip around the city, we meet very friendly and helpful people – and it is worth mentioning.

Imagine palm trees that lean towards the water. Gentle wind blowing from the sea, soft sand on a private beach. Maybe you’re swimming in the Olympic size pool or relaxing under the umbrella when you’re lying in the hot tub? You’re admiring views of the sea and the mountains or you’re having a moment of relax in the spa center. The Emerald Cove Koh Chang is an elegant pearl of the tropical Koh Chang Island.

It’s our last destination. The last night in Marrakech. The first thing, what strike the eye in the new riad is different colour scheme. Riad Altair seems to be the most modern while keeping the unusual beauty of traditional Moroccan architecture.

“Sardinia is something else: wider, more than usual, not at all irregular, but fading in the distance, crests of hills as heath, irrelevant, which are losing, perhaps, a small group of peaks … A fascinating space around and distance to travel, nothing finished, nothing definitive, it’s like freedom itself. ” (D.H.Lawrence – Sea and Sardinia)
